Job Description:
· Public policy, international affairs, journalism, business, the arts - you name it - you’ll get access to an internship that fits your interests, goals and dreams. This is substantive work - you could assist in a trial, write a business plan, or help produce a broadcast. It’s a great way to launch a career.
Qualifications:
1. Be enrolled as a second semester sophomore or above during the term of your internship. Graduate students receiving credit are also eligible.
2. Maintain a grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. You may be considered with a third letter of recommendation if your GPA is below 2.75, but please apply early. GPAs above 3.0 may be required for some internship sites.
3. Receive academic credit from your college or university for participating in the program. The Washington Center does not grant academic credit.
4. Receive the approval of your campus liaison, or of a campus sponsor if your school does not have a liaison.
