Job Description:
· EPIX,
a multi-platform premium cable channel, is currently seeking full time
interns, Monday - Friday for a minimum of 10 weeks (no weekends). EPIX
is a joint venture between Viacom, (Paramount, MTV) Lionsgate and MGM
Studios. This internship is unpaid.
· Responsibilities
will include but not be limited to assisting the Executive Vice
President of Original Programming and Development, Associate Manager and
Executive Assistant. Duties will include script coverage, answering
phones, data entry, administrative duties, errands/deliveries and
conducting research as directed. Candidate should have strong computer
skills and be proficient in PC and Macintosh. MUST be detail oriented,
eager to learn and efficient.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate possesses the ability to multi-task; take
initiative, as well as be trustworthy with sensitive and confidential
information. Interest in TV development is a big plus. Applications will
be accepted on a rolling basis. We are currently based in Studio City,
California, but will be moving to another location in the Los Angeles
area in the near future.
