Bob Wagoner is currently the Director of Entertainment of the Deadwood Mountain Grand, a new casino, hotel, event center in Deadwood South Dakota.   The casino opened on July 1, 2011, followed by the event center on July 8, 2011.  In the first 8 weeks of operation the event center hosted 17 days of concert activity along with live music in the casino’s lounge every night of the week.   Deadwood Mountain Grand made a strong opening statement and has continued to make entertainment a driving force behind bringing people to Deadwood to enjoy all of the City’s history and excitement.


Bob was educated at University of Toledo and received a Certified Facility Executive designation in 1989.  Before moving to Deadwood in 2011, he held positions as General Manager of the North Dakota State Fair, General Manager of MetraPark & Montanafair in Billings, Montana.  Previously, he held positions as Assistant General Manager at the Toledo Masonic Auditorium in Toledo, Ohio, General Manager at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Director at the Wicomico County Civic Center in Salisbury, Maryland, and Assistant Director of Civic Facilities in Norfolk, Virginia.


Bob served as adjunct faculty at Salisbury State University and Old Dominion University, as well as supervised internship programs at both universities.
