Before ooma, Andrew did business development for Trapeze Networks, a wireless LAN switching company. At Trapeze, Andrew shaped the Wireless Voice over IP and wholesale WiFi initiatives. Prior to that he was an engineer for terabit router company Procket Networks. At Procket he contributed to building the worlds most powerful core router. He was also responsible for the design and buildout of the Backbone Simulation Lab which simulated tomorrow's Internet. Before Procket Andrew spent 4 years at Cisco Systems as a routing specialist in the Global Center of Expertise. At Cisco he traveled the world solving some of the more complex global issues the Internet was facing. While at Cisco Andrew earned two CCIE (Cisco Certified Internet Expert) degrees making him not only the youngest CCIE in the world at 19, but also one of 8 double CCIEs in the world. At the age of 15 Andrew started an ISP which he scaled to be the largest in Las Vegas, it was sold to the local NBC affiliate when he was 17.
