Bob Clay has a unique mix of technical and business skills. He was a Senior Systems/Network Engineer working for Boeing on NASA and DOD contracts who went to the dark side to drive Product Development, Product Marketing and eventually Business Development in Silicon Valley at Cisco Systems. The first 10 years of his career he worked on and led system and network development projects at IBM and Boeing/NASA. The past 15 years he has driven product teams (marketing and engineering), built business plans and product lines, and started companies. He moved to Montana from Silicon Valley and changed his career track from direct Cisco product revenue generation to R&D, and from 2001 to 2008 worked as a Senior Business Development Manager at Cisco Systems analyzing new markets and new technologies finding new business opportunities for Cisco. In June of 2008 he left the world of big corporations and became a full time entrepreneur.

Bob is now the founder and CEO of two companies based out of Missoula, Montana. SkyTics, an online ticketing software company developing and deploying ticketing/box office solutions, and event registration products in Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud, and SameSky Systems, Inc., which provides application software and system development, deployment, and system operation within Cloud Computing and High Performance Computing environments.
