Sonja Grimmsmann
Program Manager, Adjunct Instructor
Originally from Germany, Sonja Grimmsmann is an alum of the School of Business Administration, earning her MBA in May 2006. She has served as Program Coordinator to Entertainment Management since 2007 and has been acting Program Manager while our Director, Scott Douglas, is on leave.
Sonja has taken a leading role in teaching core courses in the program, including MGMT 401, 402, and 403. She also serves as the primary contact for those interested in becoming involved in the program. Her vision for UMEM's future is limitless and she is often found attending the program's various events or building stronger relationships with those in the program during her free time.
Sonja's passions include rigging for shows, her family and friends, and heavy metal music.
Darah Fogarty
Graduate Assistant
Darah graduated with a degree in Communications Studies and a minor in Music in May 2011. She also received her Certificate in Entertainment Management. She is currently pursuing her MBA and is the Graduate Assistant assigned to helping manage MGMT 101S: Introduction to Entertainment Business and MGMT 295: Venue Management.
Darah grew up all over Montana and came to Missoula in 2007 to begin her college education. After a couple misguided semesters in various majors, she settled in at UMEM and has been there ever since.
Kathleen Steinhoff
Internship Coordinator
Kathy is from Corvallis, MT. She is pursuing a Certificate in Entertainment Management while majoring in Business Management with a minor in Dance. Her free time is devoted to school, work, and friends. Kathy also works in the Adams Center Box Office. She is passionate about dancing and enjoys meeting new people. Entertainment Management relies on Kathy to develop new internship and volunteer opportunities for our students.
